Perinatal Stress may affect differently to each woman and her baby (even if that baby is still in the womb).

For this reason, we are currently investigating how stress may affect the pregnancy physiology and the Maternal & Fetal well-being. In order to achieve this goal, we use different points of view:

  • Psychology: Psychological and Neuropsychological assessmet

  • Biology: Hair cortisol levels

  • Fetal Medicine: Data from ultrasounds

  • Ginecology & Obstetrics: Health controls

  • Inmunology: Blood samples

  • Biochemistry: Blood samples

  • Blood Count & Coagulation: Blood samples

  • Delivery & Birth: Data regarding this important event

  • Postpartum:  General health & Psychology

  • Babies development: Neuropsychological assessment

We are a group of professionals from different areas (Psychology & Health Science) highly concerned with Science, Health & Research.
